Comic book characters to have appeared in a slot game

by James Smith

Comic book characters are incredibly popular as they help provide people with a mixture of emotions. Some will look at the tale of these fictional characters as a source of inspiration and a way to live their best lives, whilst others will use these heroes as role models and look up to them in a variety of different ways.

Indeed, it is hard to ignore this particular sub-culture, as it is almost everywhere we look, as they are used in various forms of entertainment media, including in slot games that can be found when looking online for more sites that are available to play at. Many developers know just how influential these characters are to certain people such as nerds like us, which is why they have decided to try and use them to their advantage and exploit the slot game market with them.

But which of our favourite superheroes have been used? Here are just a couple of them that have clearly been deemed highly popular by one developer…

Superman

Perhaps the most famous superhero to have ever existed, Superman is one comic book character to have been used within the slot game market. Of course, many will instantly remember Superman as Clark Kent’s alter-ego where he runs into a phonebox when he is needed and reveals his blue costume and red cape.

For many, Superman depicts what a superhero is by the way that he dresses, and the fact that he has a number of powers that can be used to stop the villains that he battles from creating ultimate destruction, thus making him the archetype for modern-day superheroes.

A popular source of inspiration, this comic book hero has appeared in a number of slots over the years, although it could be argued that The Superman Movie slot game by Playtech is the best one available.

Batman

For many, you are either a fan of Superman or Batman, there is no in-between. However, for slot game enthusiasts, it would seem that they are able to enjoy the best of both of them.

Just like the hero whose weakness is green kryptonite, Batman is kitted out in a costume that clearly shows that he is a superhero as he wears a suit that has been given numerous remakes over the years, as well as the fact that he has a trusted sidekick in Robin.

Like Superman, he also has been the source of inspiration for a number of developers, with many having decided to create titles based on the stories that involve him. Playtech, who are perhaps the kings of the comic book characters when it comes to slots, have made several, with one version clearly inspired by the 1960s version of Batman, whilst another was also made following the release of the 2008 film, The Dark Knight.

Justice League

Superman and Batman are both a part of the DC Comics Justice League, as well, which is why they also appear in the slots that are based around this iconic group of heroes. They are joined by Wonder Woman, and Aquaman, although The Joker does also appear in the Justice League Comic slot from Playtech.
