‘WWE Raw’ Review (May 11th 2026)

by Phil Wheat

Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: The Street Profits & Joe Hendry def. The Vision

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

When Bron Breakker charged around the outside of the ring to deliver the Spear the height of the action, Seth Rollins suddenly emerged from nowhere and intercepted his adversary. The commotion he caused allowed Angelo Dawkins to pick up the pinfall on one-half of the World Tag Team Champions Austin Theory. In the aftermath, an irate Breakker lined up to take out The Visionary with the Spear. Rollins moved in the last second, thought, and Breakker instead hit the Spear on Dawkins. Although seeing his partner down made Montez Ford angry at Rollins, it didn’t change the fact that The Street Profits now hold a pin on the reigning titleholders.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #2: Je’Von Evans def. Rusev

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Things got bouncy in the final moments of an intense, impromptu showdown, as Je’Von Evans rose above Rusev to pick up the victory with the OG Cutter.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #3: IYO SKY def. Sol Ruca

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

In the final moments of an awesome one-on-one matchup, Raw’s dynamic new Superstar Sol Ruca went for the Sol Snatcher. IYO SKY, however, saw it coming and was able to put on the brakes, positioning herself to turn her opponent’s signature move into a crucifix pinfall.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Match #4: Oba Femi def. Los Garza

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

When no one answered the Oba Femi Open Challenge, Femi painfully forced Los Garza into the situation.

My Score: SQUASH out of 5

Match #5: AAA Mega Championship – Dominik Mysterio def. “Original” El Grande Americano

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

As Los Americanos and Los Americanos Hermanos brawled into the crowd, El Grande Americano suddenly emerged on the apron. “Original” El Grande Americano quickly grabbed his adversary. As he did, however, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio blasted “Original” with the 619 to successfully defend his AAA Mega Championship Match.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Final Verdict: 3/5

This week’s Raw felt like a solidly entertaining show without ever truly kicking into a higher gear. The standout match came from IYO SKY and Sol Ruca, who delivered the most complete in-ring contest of the night and gave fans a glimpse at just how well Ruca can hang on the main roster stage. Dominik Mysterio’s AAA Mega Championship defence added some enjoyable chaos too, leaning fully into the ongoing El Grande Americano absurdity in the best possible way. Elsewhere, the show was a little uneven. The opening six-man tag was more storyline progression than standout wrestling, Je’Von Evans upsetting Rusev felt abrupt, and Oba Femi’s open challenge segment was little more than destruction for destruction’s sake. Still, Raw moved several stories forward, featured a few memorable moments and never dragged, making for an easy enough watch even if it lacked a true must-see match.
