Leon Slater retained the TNA X-Division Championship by taking down Stacks. Joined by Arianna Grace, Stacks put up a fight against the young champion, but he couldn’t keep the high-flying TNA star down. Stacks tried bringing the fight to the outside, but Slater hit him with a huge dive over the top rope before hitting his Swanton 450 to win the bout and retain his championship.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Match #2: Jasper Troy def. Zachary Wentz

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Jasper Troy defeated TNA’s Zachary Wentz to advance to the finals of the Men’s Speed Tournament. Wentz struck first with a huge twisting plancha and Swanton Bomb, but the massive Troy somehow kicked out. The powerhouse fired back with a Blackhole Slam to win the match and advance in the tournament.

My Score: Squash out of 5

Match #3: Axiom def. Sean Legacy

Current SmackDown Superstar and former NXT legend Axiom returned to defeat Evolve’s Sean Legacy in a Speed Match. The match came right down to the wire as Axiom hit an Avalanche Spanish Fly to defeat Legacy in order to advance to the Finals of the Speed Tournament.

Match #4: OTM def. Hank & Tank

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Bronco Nima and Lucien Price made a statement in their return match by defeating Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. The hulking duo was able to isolate Ledger and hit him with a devastating dual slam to win the tag team match. After the bell rang, Price and Nima continued their assault, sent Walker into the steps and planted Ledger through a table.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #5: Fatal Influence def. Tatum Paxley & Izzi Dame

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne picked up some much needed momentum heading into Halloween Havoc by teaming with Lainey Reid to defeat No. 1 Contender Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame in tag team action. Paxley and Dame looked strong early on, but they couldn’t put away the champion or the upstart Reid. Fallon Henley interfered in the match which allowed Reid to trip and trap Dame, allowing Jayne to hit a match-ending Rolling Encore on Paxley. After the match, Fatal Influence attempted to beat Paxley down, but she repelled the attack in impressive fashion.

My Score: 3.5 out of 5

Final Verdict: 2.5/5

This week’s WWE NXT delivered a focused and energetic go-home episode ahead of Halloween Havoc 2025. The night was built around a heated contract signing between Ricky Saints and Trick Williams, which quickly broke down into chaos and set the tone for their upcoming title clash. The women’s division also got the spotlight, as Sol Ruca revealed her injury status, prompting Zaria to step up as her replacement challenger, adding an element of surprise to next week’s card. Elsewhere, the “Speed” tournament kicked off with Axiom scoring a hard-fought win over Sean Legacy, while tag team rivalries continued to simmer with solid in-ring action throughout. Although the matches themselves were more functional than flashy, the show succeeded in building tension, defining character motivations, and sharpening anticipation for Halloween Havoc. It wasn’t a standout episode, but it did exactly what a go-home show should.
