After becoming the youngest X-Division Champion of all time at Slammiversary, Leon Slater makes his first defense in a three-way match against Cedric Alexander and Jason Hotch! Alexander plants Slater with a Michinoku Driver for two. Hotch catches Slater with a knee strike out of mid-air. Hotch soars with a step-up Moonsault to the outside. Slater hits Hotch with a modified Twist of Slate, followed by the Swanton 450 to retain.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Match #2: Dani Luna & Indi Hartwell def. Jody Threat & Arianna Grace

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

After Victoria Crawford offered her mentorship to Dani Luna and Indi Hartwell, she got them a tag team match against Jody Threat and NXT’s Arianna Grace! Former Spitfire partners collide as Luna and Threat square off, albeit with some hesitation. Hartwell is tagged into the match as the pace quickens. Luna counters Pop Shove-It into the Luna Landing for three.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Match #3: The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed) def. The Nemeths (Nic & Ryan)

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

The Nemeths are looking to rebound after losing the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Slammiversary while The Rascalz are poised to get back into title contention! The Nemeths attempt a sneak attack but The Rascalz see it coming, countering with a pair of top rope Moonsaults. Nic stops a Zachary Wentz handspring from the outside, as Ryan capitalizes with a Famouser for two. Myro Reed takes out Nic with the Flame On Cutter to the floor. Wentz puts Ryan away with the Spiral Tap.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #4: TNA Knockouts World Championship – Masha Slamovich def. Jacy Jayne (DQ)

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

After being dethroned by Jacy Jayne at Slammiversary, Masha Slamovich receives her contractual rematch for the TNA Knockouts World Championship! Slamovich brings a frantic pace to the opening minutes of the match, gaining the early advantage. Fallon Henley grabs Masha’s leg from ringside, allowing Jayne to take control with a superkick. Slamovich bounces back but is attacked from behind by Ash By Elegance to cause the disqualification.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #5: The System (Moose & Eddie Edwards) def. Trick Williams & A.J. Francis

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

It’s main event time as Moose and Eddie Edwards fight for TNA against TNA World Champion Trick Williams and A.J. Francis! Moose powers up Francis for a vertical suplex. Eddie sends Williams over the top, then wipes him out with a shot of adrenaline to the floor. KC Navarro rips Eddie off the apron while the referee is distracted. Eddie creates separation with a Blue Thunder Bomb to Francis, before making the tag to Moose. The pace quickens as Moose brings the fight to Williams. Moose hits Williams with a pop-up powerbomb but Francis breaks the pin with a senton. Navarro inadvertently strikes Williams with his crutch. Moose capitalizes with the Spear to pin the TNA World Champion.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Final Verdict: 3/5

This week’s show delivered strong matches and an effective build toward Emergence. Leon Slater retained his X-Division Title in a thrilling triple threat, with tensions rising between him and Cedric Alexander after the match. The Knockouts division heated up with Jacy Jayne defending against Masha Slamovich, ending in disqualification after outside interference, setting up further chaos next week. The Rascalz picked up a key win over the Nemeths. In the main event, Moose and Eddie Edwards scored a big win over Trick Williams and AJ Francis, with Moose pinning the world champion. Promos from Mike Santana and Sami Callihan added emotional weight to their brewing feud. Overall, the episode blended quality wrestling with decent storytelling, pushing several narratives forward while keeping Emergence in clear focus. A tightly paced and engaging show from top to bottom. Unlike last week!
