‘TNA Wrestling’ Review (Mar 20th 2025)

by Phil Wheat

Welcome to this week’s review of TNA Wrestling, Let’s get straight into the review and see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) def. The Northern Armory (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams)

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

Eric Young joined Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary as The Northern Armory battled The Rascalz in tag team action. Judas Icarus and Travis Williams bent the rules in the early going to gain control. Turnabout is fair play however, as The Rascalz returned the favor later on. Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel scored the victory following Feed Em to the Lions on Williams.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #2: Mike Santana def. Mustafa Ali

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

Mustafa Ali and Mike Santana met in a rematch from Sacrifice, after involvement from Tasha Steelz and The Great Hands gave Ali the victory that night. Everyone was banned from ringside, as Santana jumpstarted the match with a dive to the outside. They brawled around the ringside area before finding their way into the ring. Santana was nearing victory when Ali rolled back to the outside. Ali would retreat through the crowd, getting himself intentionally counted out.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #3: Xia Brookside & Léi Yǐng Lee def. Rosemary & Savannah Evans

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

Xia Brookside recruited Léi Yǐng Lee to team up against Rosemary and a partner of her choosing, Savannah Evans. The action was fast and furious as these four Knockouts waged war in the iMPACT! Zone. Brookside narrowly avoided the green mist this time, which caused Rosemary to blind her own partner. Lee capitalized with Thunderstuck to score the pinfall on Evans.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Match #4: Mance Warner def. Magno

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

Mance Warner, accompanied by his girlfriend, Steph De Lander, took to the ring for action against El Paso’s own Magno. Warner made quick work of his opponent and scored the dominant victory with a knee strike.

My Score: 0 out of 5

Match #5: Joe Hendry & Elijah def. The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers)

The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

There was more fallout from the steel Cage match at Sacrifice as TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and Elijah battled The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers in the main event. Alisha would make her presence felt at ringside as she attacked Elijah while the referee’s back was turned. Elijah would create separation with a spinning neckbreaker to Eddie, which allowed him to tag in Hendry. The pace quickened as Hendry went on the attack. The System played the numbers game to their advantage while Elijah was laid out on the floor. Elijah neutralized Eddie with a running knee before Hendry put Myers away with the Standing Ovation.

My Score: 3.5 out of 5

Final Verdict: 3/5

Let’s be honest, this week’s episode opened pretty weakly and the entire show was saved by the women’s tag and the main event. And they even had the gall to throw in a squash match! It did feel like – and I don’t know if/when this was taped – the wind has been taken out of TNA’s sails, especially after watching Sacrifice followed by this week’s show. Might just be me, but I’d love to hear what everyone else thinks?!
