‘WWE Smackdown’ Review (Nov 15th 2024)
Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: Bayley def. B-Fab and Candice LeRae
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Bayley is one step closer to history and becoming the first-ever Women’s United States Champion after she defeated Candice LeRae and B-Fab in a Triple Threat Match. LeRae, the WWE Women’s Speed Champion, came out blazing by taking out The Role Model and B-Fab using her innovative offense. It wasn’t long before the former WWE Women’s Champion rejoined the fray, but B-Fab showed resilience and stayed in the fight after getting hit with a flying elbow. All three Superstars continued to battle, but Bayley stacked up B-Fab long enough to score the pinfall and move one step closer to winning gold.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #2: LA Knight def. Berto
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Legado del Fantasma’s Berto answered LA Knight’s Open Challenge, but he fell to The Megastar in front of a raucous Milwaukee crowd. Berto shined early, but Knight rallied with some encouragement from the crowd and never looked back. The champion had the challenger right where he wanted him, and after an Elbow Drop, Knight hit a BFT to retain his title and celebrate with his adoring fans.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: The Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Street Profits (DQ)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The WWE Tag Team Championship remains with The Motor City Machine Guns after Tommaso Ciampa snapped and attacked The Street Profits. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins looked determined and used their power advantage to gain momentum, but the veteran champions used their tandem offense to even the odds and keep the WWE Universe on edge. Ford scaled the ropes looking to capture gold, but Ciampa hit the scene and laid out The Street Profits to force a no-contest.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #4: Nia Jax def. Naomi
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Nia Jax used a ton of chaos to retain the WWE Women’s Championship against Naomi in the main event of SmackDown. The Irresistable Force used her incredible strength to overwhelm the challenger, tossing her around the ring and cracking with her a devastating headbutt. The challenger withstood the damage and rallied in a big way, including hitting a Rear View that nearly won her the title. During the battle in the ring, Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton appeared and tried to help Jax, but it nearly backfired after a spectacular counter from Naomi. Bayley hit the scene to even the odds, but Candice LeRae took her out too, allowing Jax to hit an Annihilator and retain her title.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
Another mundane episode of Smackdown this week, making it more than three weeks in a row! At least this episode didn’t feature a squash match, and so squeaked past last week’s show in the scores, keeping last week’s episode of Smackdown as the worst of the month. So far.
