Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a very late review, thanks to the email screwing the delivery over like a pizza boy delayed by a Victoria’s Secret orgy.

Match #1: Rich Swann vs. Dave Crist

The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Dave distracts the referee, allowing Jake to illegally attack Swann on the other side of the ring. Swann hits a handspring cutter for a two-count. Dave attempts the Square & Compass but Swann reverses into a rollup to win!

My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This was a lot of fun, but it wasn’t as good as some of the other qulaifiers have been.

Match #2: Trevor Lee vs. Trey Miguel

The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Lee attempts a German suplex but Miguel lands on his feet. Lee uses his strength advantage to ground Miguel. Miguel connects with a huge Hurricanrana to pick up the victory!

My Take: 3 out of 5 – This was a fine match that gave Miguel a big victory and Lee a reason to find a different place to work.

Match #3: Santana vs. Fenix

The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Santana hits a springboard Hurricanrana, followed by a flip dive to the outside. Fenix flies next with a huge Moonsault from the top rope to the floor! Santana catches Fenix in mid-air and hits a Uranagi for a two-count. Fenix connects with a rolling cutter for a very close near fall! Fenix plants Santana on the top of his head with a sick reverse Hurricanrana. Fenix connects with a unique spinning sit-down slam to score the win!

My Take: 3.5 out of 5 – This was an excellent match that was Santana’s best showing in Impact so far. Fenix was great, but that’s old news by now. This is what Impact should be about, not being a cheap imitation of ECW.

Match #4: Ruby Raze vs. Jordynne Grace

The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Grace appears to be at a rare size and strength disadvantage in the early going. Katarina distracts Grace from the outside, allowing Ruby to connect with a German suplex. Grace hits a powerbomb off the top rope! Katarina climbs on the top and Grace takes her out with a Muscle Buster! Grace splashes them both in the corner and pins Ruby to win.

My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This match was all about Grace and her abilities. They’ve really got some-thing with Grace and I hope they don’t blow it with her.

Match #5: (Main Event) Brian Cage vs. Moose

The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Cage powerbombs Moose right on the ring apron! These two giants brawl around the ringside area as they send each other into the steel guardrails. Cage launches himself over the top rope, crashing into Moose on the floor! Cage connects with a huge Spinebuster for a two-count. Moose hits Go to Hell off the top for a near fall! Cage hits a suplex on Moose from the apron back inside the ring!

My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This was good for the big spots, but as a complete match, this was missing some-thing.

Final Verdict: 3/5

The wrestling was just fine and the show was booked without the bad skits, so that’s a good week to me.
