‘WWE NXT: Revenge – Week One’ Review
Welcome to this week’s review of NXT: Revenge – Week One, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Kelani Jordan def. Jaida Parker
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Kelani Jordan exacted payback on her rival Jaida Parker as she picked up a major victory. Neither Superstar held back in their fury as the action spilled to the outside, leading to a devastating double clothesline that left both competitors down. Jordan began targeting Parker’s knee, compromising her lower half and leaving her desperate to find a way to win without using it. That task proved to be too difficult as her Hipnotic attack sent her crashing into an exposed turnbuckle, allowing Jordan to hit her Split-legged Moonsault for the win.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #2: Kali Armstrong def. Skylar Raye
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Kali Armstrong showed out in her NXT debut by taking down a very game Skylar Raye. Raye withstood Armstrong’s early barrage, but Armstrong’s combination of power and speed was too much to overcome. With Raye staggering, Armstrong crushed her with the Kali Connection to mark a successful debut.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: NXT Championship – Tony D’Angelo def. Ethan Page
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tony D’Angelo retained the NXT Title after a grueling fight with former champion Ethan Page. Ricky Saints attempted to help his friend Page, but Shiloh Hill appeared from under the ring, hogtied Saints, and dragged him away kicking and screaming. Page brought the NXT Championship into the ring and dumped the champion onto it via an Ego’s Edge, but not even that was enough to win the bout. Despite Page’s best efforts, D’Angelo delivered an amazing Spear and a Dead to Rights to win the match.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #4: Speed Tournament – EK Prosper def. Dorian Van Dux
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
EK Prosper shined in his Speed Tournament Match against a debuting Dorian Van Dux. The Belgium-born Superstar crashed and burned on a Shooting Star Press, allowing Prosper to hit a picture-perfect Moonsault to advance to the Speed Tournament Final.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #5: NXT Women’s Championship – Lola Vice def. Jacy Jayne
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Lola Vice is still the NXT Women’s Champion after an incredible showing against former titleholder Jacy Jayne. The supreme striking skills of Vice were on full display as she cut down the challenger, forcing Jayne to regroup and strategize a new plan. A timely distraction from Lainey Reid at ringside led to Jayne clocking the champion with a huge running knee strike, putting Vice’s title reign in trouble. Reid once again inserted herself into the action, but her punch couldn’t keep Vice down as the champion rocked the challenger with her signature Spinning Backfist, winning the match and retaining her title.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
Week one of NXT: Revenge was a solid, if unspectacular, start to the themed run. Across the board, the in-ring action delivered without ever quite breaking into must-see territory, with multiple matches hovering in that dependable-but-not-blowaway range. Kelani Jordan vs. Jaida Parker and the NXT Championship clash between Tony D’Angelo and Ethan Page stood out as the night’s highlights, both bringing intensity and story progression, while Lola Vice’s title defence capped things off with another strong showing for the champion. Elsewhere, Kali Armstrong’s debut was serviceable without feeling like a star-making moment, and the Speed Tournament match did its job but never truly grabbed attention. Nothing here was bad by any stretch – but equally, very little felt essential. A consistent, easy watch that sets the table nicely, I’m hoping Week Two kicks things up a gear.
