News of the Night:
- During the Feast or Fired briefcase reveals, Steve Maclin opened the “Fired” briefcase and is now gone from TNA
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
This week’s episode was a solid, if slightly uneven, night of action that leaned heavily on in-ring consistency rather than big storyline swings—right up until the closing moments. Nic Nemeth continued his dependable run with a strong opener against B.D.E., while Elijah vs. Jason Hotch delivered exactly what you’d expect: competent, no-frills wrestling that kept the show ticking along nicely. The women’s bout was brief and functional, and Stacks stealing a win with underhanded tactics fit his character, even if the match itself never really caught fire. The standout, though, was Rich Swann versus A.J. Francis, which went all-in on chaos and weapon-heavy spectacle. It was wild, physical, and easily the match of the night. But the real talking point came after the bell, with the Feast or Fired reveal seeing Steve Maclin open the dreaded “Fired” briefcase – an abrupt and genuinely shocking moment that gave the episode, and TNA itselfm a much-needed jolt of consequence.
