‘WWE NXT’ Review (Nov 4th 2025)
Welcome to this week’s review of NXT, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Fatal Influence def. Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame and Lola Vice
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Jacy Jayne exacted payback on NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley by helping Fatal Influence upend the team of Paxley, Izzi Dame and Lola Vice. The former NXT Women’s Champion slyly tagged into the match and that forced Dame to toss Paxley out of the way, allowing herself to take the full force of a Rolling Encore that ended the match.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: El Grande Americano def. Josh Briggs
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
WWE Speed Champion El Grande Americano shined in his NXT debut as he defeated Josh Briggs in a hard-hitting matchup. No. 1 Contender Jasper Troy made his way to ringside during the bout as did Tavion Heights, and the latter’s involvement allowed Los Americanos to neutralize Briggs, allowing El Grande Americano to submit Briggs.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: Speed Match – Zaria def. Wren Sinclair
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Zaria crushed Wren Sinclair in a Speed Match thanks to a devastating Spear and a match-ending F5.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #4: Kelani Jordan def. Tyra Mae Steele
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Season One winner of LFG was impressive, using her strength and mat skills to keep Jordan off her game. However, Jordan’s veteran nature and newfound mean streak lifted her as she hit her signature Split-Legged Moonsault to win the match.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #5: Je’Von Evans def. Saquon Shugars
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Young OG showed up and showed out as Je’Von Evans defeated Saquon Shugars as the rest of DarkState looked on. Shugars had a power advantage, but not even the support of Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin and Cutler James could boost him to the win. DarkState tried to get involved, but Evans outran them all before hitting a remarkable Corkscrew Splash to end the battle for good.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
This week’s NXT delivered a show that blended strong in-ring action with decent storyline movement. The six-woman tag was a highlight, with Fatal Influence scoring a decisive win after Jacy Jayne pinned Izzi Dame with the Rolling Encore—continuing their rise as a cohesive unit. The Women’s Speed Championship tournament also kicked off, with Zaria defeating Wren Sinclair in a sharp, fast-paced bout. Elsewhere, Je’Von Evans picked up a clean victory over Saquon Shugars, while El Grande Americano forced Josh Briggs to submit in a surprisingly gritty contest. Guest talent Kelani Jordan added extra star power, beating Tyra Mae Steele in non-title action. Overall, this was a tight, energetic episode that advanced multiple stories without feeling rushed. An easy, engaging watch with a ridicluos closer that sent everyone home with a smile on their face… which is ALWAYS what happens when Joe Hendry appears on NXT!
