‘TNA Wrestling’ Review (Sep 4th 2025)
Welcome to this week’s review of TNA Wrestling. Let’s get straight into the review and see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: Frankie Kazarian def. Matt Cardona
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Matt Cardona battles Frankie Kazarian for the first time ever! The fight spills to the outside where Ryan Nemeth gets involved, allowing Kazarian to gain control. Kazarian hits his signature springboard leg drop. Moments later, Kazarian sends him face-first into the steel ring post but Cardona makes it back into the ring just before the referee’s count of 10. Cardona bounces back with a Spinebuster for two. Ryan gets back on the apron and Cardona takes him out with Radio Silence. Kazarian capitalizes, putting Cardona away with Fade to Black.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #2: Indi Hartwell def. Jody Threat & Dani Luna
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Dani Luna, Jody Threat and Indi Hartwell collide for a future Knockouts World Title opportunity! Ring announcer McKenzie Mitchell reveals that the winner of this match will receive their title shot at the biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory. Threat dives through the ropes, taking out both of her opponents on the floor. Hartwell is perched on the top but Luna sends her crashing to the outside. Hartwell soars with a top rope elbow drop to the back of Luna. Threat leaps off the apron to take Luna off her feet. Hartwell and Threat exchange pin attempts with Hartwell gaining the upper-hand to score the victory.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: The Hardys (Matt & Jeff) & Mara Sadè def. Order 4 (The Great Hands & Tasha Steelz)
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys join forces with Mara Sadè to battle The Great Hands and Tasha Steelz of Order 4! Jeff and Sadè hit a triple DDT to all three of their opponents. Special Agent 0 gets involved, prompting the referee to eject him from ringside. Skyler delivers a cheap shot to Jeff on the apron but Matt makes him pay with a Side Effect. Sadè squares off with Steelz, planting her with a powerslam for two. Hotch attacks Sadè from the apron, allowing Order 4 to gain the advantage. Minutes later, Sadè hits Steelz with Finish Her before Matt saves Sadè from The Favor. Matt hits the Twist of Fate on Skyler. Sadè goes extreme with a top rope Moonsault to Skyler. Jeff puts Skyler away with the Swanton Bomb for three.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
Three matches? Three matches? Seriously! We get a LIVE episode of Impact and they waste the opportunity on just three very AVERAGE matches?! See, this is the WWE influence creeping in… Whilst the pairing may have given TNA more exposure and may lead to a decent TV deal for the company, what it is doing – I feel – is stripping TNA of its own identity. And it’s stars as well. Because we all know TNA’s biggest names will all head over to WWE when they’re contracts are up (if WWE want them, of course) and we’ll eventually end up back in the post-Hogan era of TNA when nobody watched it outside of die-hard fans!
