‘Inside’ Video Review

Inside is a tense and atmospheric 2024 Australian prison drama from the mind of writer/director Charles Williams, fronted by a magnetic performance from Guy Pearce, who stars alongside Cosmo Jarvis, Toby Wallace and Vincent Miller. Blending raw authenticity with slow-burn suspense, the film grips from the first frame. It made its big-screen debut in Australia on 27th February 2025 before crossing the Pacific for its US release on 20th June 2025.

Transferred from juvenile to adult prison, Mel is taken under the wing of both Shepard, Australia’s most despised criminal, and Warren, a soon-to-be-paroled inmate. The paternal triangle that forms between them becomes their undoing.
