Welcome to this review of TNA Wrestling’s Under Seige pay-per-view/PLE, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what this show – one of many wrestling shows this past weekend – had to offer! It’s do or die for Spitfire – if they do not capture the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles from Ash & Heather By Elegance, they will disband! Ash inadvertently strikes her own partner with a hockey stick. Heather hits Luna with a DDT on the ramp while Threat sends Ash through two steel chairs. Ash and Heather give Threat a makeover in front of her parents at ringside. Ash restrains Luna to the ropes but Luna breaks free and hits her with a German suplex. Since Jeff Hardy cannot travel to Under Siege, Leon Slater will join forces with Matt Hardy to challenge The Nemeths for the TNA World Tag Team Championship! The Nemeths cut off the ring and ground Slater in the early going. Nic and Ryan tag in and out like a well-oiled machine as Slater struggles to fight out of the corner. My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
This year’s Under Siege delivered a compelling blend of in-ring action and evolving storylines. Highlights included Joe Hendry and Elijah overcoming Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian in a heated tag match, intensifying Hendry’s feud with Williams. Masha Slamovich retained the Knockouts Championship against Victoria Crawford, reaffirming her dominance. Spitfire’s loss to Ash and Heather by Elegance led to their disbandment, marking a significant shift in the Knockouts tag division. Overall, Under Siege balanced high-stakes matches with emotional narratives, even if some of the action felt more like weekly matches rather than PPV-worthy stuff.
