‘WWE NXT’ Review (Mar 25th 2025)
Welcome to this week’s review of NXT, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: NXT Women’s Championship – Stephanie Vaquer def. Jaida Parker
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Stephanie Vaquer proved that La Primera is more than just a nickname as she vanquished Jaida Parker in a hard-hitting championship matchup. The confident Parker brought the fight to the champion and weighed on Vaquer’s back, targeting the area every time she hit the champion. With the champion in trouble, Jordynne Grace appeared and distracted the challenger, allowing The Dark Angel to roll up her opponent for the win.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #2: Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont def. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe picked up a huge win after Hank Walker and Tank Ledger once again struggled to execute their plan. Hank & Tank went for broke but again it backfired as Wes Lee distracted the official, allowing Dupont and Igwe to take advantage and ultimately win the match.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: NXT Heritage Cup Match – Lexis King def. Je’Von Evans
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The NXT Heritage Cup remains with Lexis King thanks in part to NXT Champion Oba Femi. Je’Von Evans and King battled in an incredible back-and-forth match when a furious Ruler came down to the ring and hit a Fall From Grace on The Young OG onto the ring apron. Since the referee was distracted by King, Evans was counted out which kicked off a major fight between him, Femi and an equally furious Trick Williams all while Darkstate watched.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #4: Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley def. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley picked up the biggest win as a team as they took down The Meta Girls in a fast-paced tag team match. Paxley implemented her chaotically innovative offense, causing Legend to counter it with her brute power advantage. As the match roared on, Jackson’s elbow strike went awry as she accidentally hit Legend, allowing Dolin and Paxley to hit Cemetery Drive and win the match.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #5: Ethan Page def. Andre Chase
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Andre Chase continues to spiral as he suffered another loss, this time to Ethan Page. The former leader of Chase U slowly but surely gained his confidence back during the match, giving All Ego everything he had. Unfortunately for Chase it wasn’t enough as one Twisted Grin put him down for good and gave Page the victory.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #6: NXT Women’s North American Championship – Stephanie Vaquer def. Fallon Henley
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Stephanie Vaquer made history by becoming the first WWE Superstar to ever successfully defend two titles in one night after she took down Fallon Henley. Fatal Influence attempted to get involved and use their numbers advantage, but La Primera kept them at bay long enough to hit an SVB for the win. After the match, a fight broke out that culminated with Jordynne Grace staring the champion down.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
Nice to see NXT back on form after last week’s less-than-stellar episode, Most of that was down to Stephanie Vaquer who defended TWO titles on one show, in a remarkable effort that shows just why Vaquer was such a great, much-needed, signing for the WWE. Though it wasn’t just Vaquer who put on a great show, Lexis King pulled it out of the bag once again, with another great Heritage Cup match, whilst Ethan Page managed to make Andre Chase look good, even in defeat! A great week for NXT. More like this please!
