‘TNA Wrestling’ Review (Mar 13th 2025)
Welcome to this week’s review of TNA Wrestling, Let’s get straight into the review and see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: Eddie Edwards def. Leon Slater
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Eddie Edwards and Leon Slater faced off for team advantage in the massive 10-Man Tag Team Cage match at Sacrifice. The action was fast and furious but in the end, it was Eddie who reigned supreme after avoiding a top rope 450, sending Slater into the steel ring post, and putting him away with the Boston Knee Party.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #2: NXT’s Wes Lee def. Laredo Kid
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Tomorrow night at Sacrifice, Wes Lee will join forces with Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe to battle his former allies, The Rascalz, and Ace Austin. But before that, NXT’s Wes Lee stepped into the ring with Laredo Kid on iMPACT, where he scored a breathtaking victory following the Cardiac Kick.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #3: Xia Brookside def. Rosemary (DQ)
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
It was Knockouts warfare as Xia Brookside battled Rosemary, with both competitors looking to climb the division’s ranks. A frustrated Brookside was about to use a steel chain as a weapon but was blinded by Rosemary’s green mist.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #4: JDC def. Cody Deaner
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
JDC looked to make an example out of Cody Deaner ahead of the 10-Man Tag Team Cage match tomorrow night at Sacrifice. JDC warned Deaner to forfeit the match, but Deaner put the choice in the hands of the people – and they wanted him to fight. JDC would take the low road, delivering a thumb to the eye before putting him away with the Falcon Arrow.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #5: Tessa Blanchard & NXT’s Cora Jade def. Masha Slamovich & Léi Yǐng Lee
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
The official liaison between NXT and TNA, Arianna Grace, joined the commentary team as Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich and Léi Yǐng Lee clashed with NXT’s Cora Jade and Tessa Blanchard. Both teams were looking to gain momentum ahead of their respective singles showdowns at Sacrifice. The closing moments saw Jade crack Slamovich with the Knockouts World Title. Blanchard would capitalize with the Buzzsaw to win.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #6: TNA World Championship – Joe Hendry def. Ryan Nemeth
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwodlt were joined by Call Your Shot Trophy holder Frankie Kazarian on commentary. Before Director of Authority Santino Marella could reveal who Joe Hendry’s challenger was for the TNA World Title, he was interrupted by Ryan Nemeth, who announced that he was taking his brother’s contractually-obligated rematch for the championship! The bell rang and Ryan missed a clothesline, which allowed Hendry to capitalize with a Standing Ovation for the quick victory.
My Score: 0 out of 5
Match #7: TNA World Championship – Joe Hendry def. Hammerstone
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
But then, Santino introduced Hendry’s true challenger for the evening, Hammerstone! One night before competing in the 10-Man Tag Team Cage match at Sacrifice, Joe Hendry put his TNA World Title on the line – again! Hammerstone put his strength on display as he muscled Hendry around the ringside area. The action would resume in the ring, where Hendry withstood Hammerstone’s onslaught. A fired-up Hendry lifted up Hammerstone for a flurry of offense, which culminated with the Standing Ovation for three.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
A nice improvement over last week’s show and one that built really well for this weekend’s Sacrifice pay-per-view. Loved the blend of NXT and TNA talent across the entire show, though I could’ve done without the weird two-match main event. Overall this episode did its job of selling the PPV and delivering great wrestling action!
