‘WWE NXT’ Review (Nov 3rd 2024)
Welcome to this week’s review of NXT, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Last Chance Iron Survivor Qualifier Fatal 4-Way Match – Winner: Wren Sinclair
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Wren Sinclair is officially headed to Deadline after overcoming Cora Jade, Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan in the Women’s Last Chance Fatal 4-Way Match. Parker was showing out early, using her power to thrash her opponents and at one point even stacking up Jade and Sinclair to hit a Double Silencer on the ropes. Jordan and Jade went back and forth after neither were able to score the winning fall, and that opening allowed Parker to get back in the fold. Out of nowhere, Lola Vice appeared and tried to hit Parker with a Spinning Backfist, but she clocked Sinclair on accident who then fell back into the winning pinfall on Jade, sending her to the Iron Survivor Challenge.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: No. 1 Contender Tag Team Battle Royal – Winners: Myles Borne and Tavion Heights
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The No Quarter Catch Crew scored another huge win when Myles Borne and Tavion Heights became No. 1 Contenders to the NXT Tag Team Title. NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura teamed with Josh Briggs and the pair started to clean house, eliminating several Superstars before Briggs himself got eliminated. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger impressed as the field whittled down to them, Gallus, OTM and a solo Borne. Gallus became the last duo standing but were promptly eliminated, leaving Ledger, Lucien Price and Borne to battle it out to see who would go to Deadline. Borne and Ledger teamed up briefly to incapacitate Price, but Borne clotheslined Ledger over the top rope and promptly delivered a picture-perfect dropkick to eliminate Price, sending No Quarter Catch Crew to Deadline for a championship opportunity.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: Karmen Petrovic def. Nikkita Lyons
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Karmen Petrovic picked up a major win by dispatching Nikkita Lyons after the two clashed over the affection of Ashante “Thee” Adonis. Lyons overwhelmed Petrovic and when all hope for her seemed lost, Adonis appeared and helped her to her feet, only to push her out of the way of the incoming Lyons who leveled him with a forearm strike. Petrovic took advantage of the distraction and hit a Silence Slice to win the match. However, after the match, she was furious with Adonis for pushing her out of the way.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #4: Gigi Dolin def. Izzi Dame
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Gigi Dolin is back and better than ever as she defeated Izzi Dame in a hard-fought contest. During the match, Shawn Spears appeared on the entranceway to watch, and he saw Dame look to make a name for herself as she took out Tatum Paxley who was at ringside. Hell’s Favorite Harlot rallied from Dame’s devastating strikes and hit a Gigi Driver to win the match.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #5: Last Chance Iron Survivor Qualifier Fatal 4-Way Match – Winner: Eddy Thorpe
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Eddy Thorpe is one step closer to capturing gold as he is headed to Deadline to compete in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. All four Superstars gave it their all, with Lexis King, Axiom and Cedric Alexander bringing their unique skills and innovative offenses to the table to try and advance to Deadline. Axiom looked poised to win after a Golden Ratio, but Thorpe tossed him out of the ring at the last second and pinned King to advance to Deadline for a chance to become No. 1 Contender.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
Another strong episode of NXT, thanks again to the number of Iron Survivor qualifier matches and the tag battle royal. I’ve always said, tournaments always make wrestling shows better. And this week’s NXT was certainly an example of that! Though, if I’m honest, this didn’t do much to add to the urgency for this weekend’s Deadline PPV.
