‘WWE NXT’ Review (Nov 12th 2024)
Welcome to this week’s review of NXT, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer def. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Looking to remain undefeated in the women’s tag team division, Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer took on Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. After a back-and-forth match, Giulia and Vaquer clobbered Jackson with stereo knees to win the match.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Sol Ruca def. Cora Jade
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The first entrant in the Women’s Iron Survivor Match was on the line as Sol Ruca battled Cora Jade. As Jade looked to hit a running knee strike on Ruca, Ruca dodged out of the way before hitting the Soul Snatcher to win the match and enter her first Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: Wes Lee def. Cedric Alexander
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Wes Lee and Cedric Alexander duked it out to become the first entrant in the 2024 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. After a bad spill to the outside, Alexander fought through the pain to try and ground Lee, hitting a superb Springboard Flatliner, but Lee kicked out. Lee utilized the ring to his advantage, ripping off a turnbuckle pad as Alexander hit the Michinoku Driver. With the turnbuckle pad off, the referee lost some time putting it back in, allowing Lee to kick out. Eventually, the pad fell off again as Alexander went careering straight into the exposed steel, leading to a Meteora from Lee to earn the win and his place inside the Iron Survivor Challenge.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #4: Nikkita Lyons def. Adriana Rizzo
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Adriana Rizzo looked for retribution on Nikkita Lyons, the Superstar that had attacked her a few weeks ago. Lyons tossed Rizzo around like a ragdoll as Rizzo tried to gain a footing in the match. Despite Rizzo’s tenacity, Lyons hit the Lyon’s Roar to win the match. After the match, Rizzo clattered Lyons with a crowbar.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #5: Je’Vons Evans def. Lexis King
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Je’Vons Evans and Lexis King engaged in a gentlemanly battle to qualify for the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. Inadvertently, King hit Evans below the belt but his conscious got the better of him as he decided not to go for the cover. After a spirited matchup, Evans hit a superkick followed by a twisting splash to punch his ticket to NXT Deadline.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #6: NXT Women’s North American Championship – Fallon Henley def. Kelani Jordan
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Kelani Jordan looked to regain the NXT Women’s North American Title as she squared off against champion Fallon Henley in a rematch from NXT Halloween Havoc. With chaos evolving backstage with the NXT tag teams, Henley and Jordan needed to have their focus on the prize as the two left everything in the ring. Jordan looked to have the match won with a Split-legged Moonsault but Jacy Jayne placed Henley’s foot on the ropes to save the title for Fatal Influence. Jayne got involved once again, leveling Jordan with a right hook behind the referee’s back. This allowed Henley to hit a Fame-asser to win the match and retain her title.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
Another decent episode of NXT. Which makes three weeks in a row for the black and gold brand. The women’s division really got the spotlight this week, whilst the card was mainly made up of Iron Survivor qualifier matches – and I’ve always said, tournaments always make wrestling shows better. And this week’s NXT was certainly an example of that!
