‘TNA Wrestling’ Review (Oct 10th 2024)
Welcome to this week’s review of TNA Wrestling, Let’s get straight into the review and see what went down on the show…

Match #1: Jordynne Grace, Masha Slamovich & Sol Ruca def. Wendy Choo, Rosemary & Tasha Steelz
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
The crossover continues as we kick things off with a huge tag team showdown! Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace joins forces with Masha Slamovich and NXT’s Sol Ruca to battle Tasha Steelz, Rosemary and NXT’s Wendy Choo. After falling victim to the numbers game, Ruca is able to explode out of the corner with a Sol Snatcher to Rosemary. Ruca makes the tag to Slamovich, who goes on the attack. After Steelz delivers a thumb to the eye of Slamovich, Grace tags herself in and puts Steelz away with the Juggernaut Driver.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Josh Alexander def. Eric Young
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
After Josh Alexander’s recent blindside of Eric Young, the two TNA veterans collide on iMPACT. Young was in the driver’s seat when Judas Icarus and Travis Williams made their presence felt. Young was able to recover, however, and almost defeated Alexander following his signature top rope elbow drop. This led to a physical involvement from Alexander’s new allies in The Northern Armory, allowing Alexander to steal the victory.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #3: The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) vs. ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) – No Contest
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
It’s a first-time-ever matchup as The Hardys battle ABC with potential Bound For Glory implications. The action is back and forth as both teams put it all on the line. But in typical System fashion, TNA World Tag Team Champions Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers hit the ring to attack both teams, bringing the match to an abrupt halt.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #4: X-Division #1 Contenders Match – Leon Slater def. Jason Hotch
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Mike Bailey joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary for this X-Division #1 Contenders match to see who his next challenger will be next week. Will it be Jason Hotch, Leon Slater or Laredo Kid? It’s adrenaline-pumping action at every turn as Slater soars with the Swanton 450 to score the pinfall victory over Hotch.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #5: Nic Nemeth & Joe Hendry def. Fir$t Cla$$ (A.J. Francis & KC Navarro)
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Champion and challenger for the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory, Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry, team up against Fir$t Cla$$ in tonight’s tag team main event. Fir$t Cla$$ aims to gain the early advantage by delivering a cheap shot to Hendry but Nemeth quickly evens the odds and sends them reeling. But after Francis gets involved from the apron, it’s Fir$t Cla$$ who are once again in control. Nemeth finds an opening and makes the much-needed tag to Hendry. Tensions are rising when Hendry hits Francis with Nemeth’s finisher, the Danger Zone. Turnabout is fair play as Nemeth tags himself into the match and hits Navarro with the Standing Ovation, followed by the Famouser to win.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
Another solid episode of TNA Impact this week! From start to finish each and every match delivered decent action AND storytelling. Plus, we got another NXT/TNA crossover match! Great stuff. The only downside this week, for me, was too many talking heads segments, but given that TNA are trying to really build for Bound For Glory, that can – almost – be forgiven!
