‘TNA Wrestling’ Review (Sept 19th 2024)
Welcome to this week’s review of TNA Wrestling, Let’s get straight into the review and see what went down on the show…

Match #1: First Class def. Sinner & Saint
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Judas Icarus brought the fight to First Class, delivering multiple impressive tag team combos. However, AJ Francis caught Williams with a devastating chokeslam, followed by KC Navarro hitting a massive splash. This sequence secured the victory for First Class.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Rhino Def. Matt Cardona (DQ)
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Rhino wasted no time as he immediately went after Cardona, delivering a brutal beatdown that led to a huge suplex on the ramp! The two battled in a hard-hitting back-and-forth contest until Cardona took a shortcut, nailing Rhino with a chair. The referee called for the bell, disqualifying Cardona, but the assault didn’t stop there as he continued attacking The Man Beast. Suddenly, the lights went out and PCO appeared! Cardona quickly retreated, but PCO, seething with frustration, grabbed the chair and treated it like it was Cardona, hitting it with a thunderous PCO Sault!
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #3: Spitfire def. Kendal Grey & Carlee Bright
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
The match kicked off with Arianna Grace introducing Kendal Grey and Carlee Bright to the iMPACT Zone. Grey and Bright put up a valiant effort, but the powerhouse Spitfire dominated the bout. After delivering a massive stalling suplex and connecting with thier signature move, The Pressure Drop, Spitfire secured a decisive victory.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #4: Texas Death Match – Mike Santana def. JDC
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
Mike Santana wasted no time, going right after JDC from the opening bell. He quickly set up chairs, looking to slam JDC through them, but JDC turned the tables, sending Santana crashing through the chair backs instead. Santana hit the floor and came back bloodied, but soon returned the favor by busting JDC open with a barbed wire bat. As the brutal match wore on, Santana set up a ladder on the stage and took a high-risk dive, crashing JDC through a table. JDC couldn’t answer the referee’s count, giving Santana the hard-fought victory. But before he could celebrate, Moose blindsided Santana with a vicious attack!
My Score: 4 out of 5
Match #5: The Hardys & Masha Slamovich def. The System & Tasha Steelz
The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
The match kicked off with Masha Slamovich dominating Tasha Steelz. After a series of tags and Masha joining in on Poetry in Motion, Matt Hardy took control, leading to Alisha Edwards trying to interfere, but she was caught and ejected. When she refused to leave, ABC carried her out. With the distraction cleared, Matt Hardy hit a Twist of Fate, followed by Jeff Hardy’s Swanton Bomb, securing the victory.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
What a solid episode of TNA Impact this was! From start to finish each and every match delivered decent action AND storytelling. Like last week this show felt more like TNA of old (as in pre-Scott D’Amore’s release). And like last week, The Hardys – this time working with Masha Slamovich – delivered ANOTHER good match against the System. Which kind of proves the point that opponents are just as important to the quality of the match as “stars” are!
