Match #1: Bayley def. Tiffany Stratton

When WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax jumped up on the apron in an attempt to interfere, she accidentally distracted the official away from Tiffany Stratton’s pin attempt on Bayley. Moments later, The Role Model hit the Rose Plant on Miss Money in the Bank for the victory.

Match #2: Apollo Crews def. Giovanni Vinci

After weeks of videos heralding his return, Giovanni Vinci took too long preparing for his match against Apollo Crews. When the official had enough and called for the bell, Crews took advantage of his opponent’s back being turned and picked up the pin in less than ten seconds to hand Vinci a humiliating loss.

Match #3: Kevin Owens def. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory

In a whirlwind Triple Threat Match that, in reality. was more of a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, Kevin Owens hit the stunner on Austin Theory to pick up the victory over A-Town Down Under. In a post -match beatdown on KO, however, Theory fired back with A-Town Down and Waller finished Owens with a Rolling Flatliner.

Match #4: Chelsea Green def. Michin

After Piper Niven dished out numerous distractions and a devastating ringside senton onto Michin when the official’s back was turned, Chelsea Green finished off her outnumbered opponent with the Unpretty Her.

Match #5: The Bloodline def. The Street Profits and #DIY

In the height of a total free-for-all Eight-Man Tag Team Match, Jacob Fatu unleashed an absolute onslaught on Montez Ford and set up two Samoan Spikes by Solo Sikoa for the win in SmackDown final main event on FOX.

Final Verdict: 2/5
What a sub-par episode of Smackdown we had this week. There was absolutely nothing to recommend apart from perhaps the main event and the less said about Giovanni Vinci’s match the better. Good god it was bad and it wasn’t just Vinci’s fault either! Even poor Kevin Owens had to suffer in a match against the risible A-Town Down under… P*ss poor IMHO.
