‘WWE Raw’ Review (Apr 6th 2026)
Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: Austin Theory def. LA Knight
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Austin Theory took on LA Knight, and IShowSpeed was reluctantly in the corner of The Vision. With Knight in control, Logan Paul threw IShowSpeed into Knight, much to Speed’s chagrin. As Speed was backing up the ramp, The Usos appeared and blocked the streamer from exiting. Speed fled back into the ring, allowing Knight to be distracted as Theory rolled up The Megastar for the big win.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #2: Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh never started…
My Score: N/A out of 5
Match #3: Bayley def. Lash Legend
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Nia Jax, who was ringside, tripped Bayley as Bayley was trying to take down Lash Legend. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair attacked Jax before Bayley wiped out everybody at ringside. Legend attempted a superplex, but Bayley countered before covering Legend. Lyra Valkyria held Legend’s leg during the count to help Bayley get the win.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #4: Penta, Je’Von Evans & Dragon Lee def. Los Americanos
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Set to defend the Intercontinental Title against several competitors in a Ladder Match at WrestleMania, Penta teamed with Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee, each of whom will also compete in the Ladder Match. Lee looked for the Styles Clash on Rayo Americano, but Bravo Americano prevented Lee from executing the move. Lee eventually nailed the move on Rayo, but El Grande Americano stopped Lee from getting the win. Evans hit a huge OG cutter on Bravo to get the win for his team.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #5: Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY def. Michin & B-Fab
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Rhea Ripley reunited with IYO SKY to take on Michin and B-Fab. Despite being isolated from Ripley, SKY countered B-Fab’s slam attempt and rolled her up to get the win. After the match, Cargill whacked SKY with a Kendo stick while Ripley was forced to watch.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
This week’s Raw felt like it was spinning its wheels rather than accelerating toward anything meaningful. On paper, you’ve got big names and Wrestlemania-adjacent stakes, but in execution? A lot of distraction finishes, interference-heavy storytelling, and one match that didn’t even get out of the gate. The opener between Austin Theory and LA Knight set the tone, with outside nonsense involving Logan Paul and IShowSpeed overshadowing the actual wrestling. It never quite recovered from there. Bayley vs. Lash Legend was another overbooked affair, while the women’s tag with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY felt more like a setup angle than a satisfying match. The standout, if you can call it that, was the six-man tag featuring Penta, Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee, which at least delivered some athleticism and forward momentum toward the looming ladder match. But even that couldn’t shake the feeling that this show was more filler than fire. Overall, this was a frustratingly average episode – heavy on storyline clutter, light on memorable in-ring action.
