‘WWE Raw’ Review (Mar 16th 2026)
Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: El Grande Americano def. “Original” El Grande Americano
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Chaos created by Los Americanos distracted the official long enough for Bravo to load a metal piece into El Grande Americano’s mask. And when “Original” El Grande Americano hit the headbutt off the top rope, he took himself out and allowed El Grande Americano to pick up the pin.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Women’s Intercontinental Championship – AJ Lee def. Bayley
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After avoiding Bayley’s flying elbow in the final moments, Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee locked in the Black Widow to make Bayley tap out.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #3: Men’s Intercontinental Championship – Penta def. Dragon Lee
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Intercontinental Champion Penta continued to prove himself a fighting champion when he overcame Dragon Lee with the Mexican Destroyer in an incredible impromptu title showdown.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #4: Nattie def. Maxxine Dupri
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Nattie made Maxxine Dupri tap out to the Sharpshooter in a highly personal showdown.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #5: Stephanie Vaquer def. Raquel Rodriguez
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer defeated Raquel Rodriguez after IYO SKY neutralized La Primera’s disruptive WrestleMania challenger, Liv Morgan.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
Overall, this week’s Raw delivered a solid but unspectacular night of action, with a run of good matches in the middle of the card helping to keep the show moving even when the overall stakes didn’t feel particularly high. AJ Lee vs. Bayley and Penta vs. Dragon Lee were the clear highlights, both delivering strong in-ring performances that gave the show some real energy, while Stephanie Vaquer’s win continued to position her strongly heading toward WrestleMania. On the flip side, the opener felt more like storyline chaos than a proper match, and Nattie vs. Maxxine Dupri never really got out of second gear, dragging the overall average down slightly. Nothing on this episode was outright bad, but very little felt must-see either – a consistent, watchable Raw that lacked a true standout moment.
