‘WWE Raw’ Review (Feb 16th 2026)

by Phil Wheat

Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: The Vision def. The Usos & LA Knight

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Bronson Reed drove LA Knight through the ring barricade. Shortly after, he dove through the ropes to take out Jimmy and Jey Uso. After hurling Jey over the announce table, Bronson threw Jimmy back in the ring to set up Logan Paul for the hard right hand before Reed hit the Tsunami to earn the win over The Megastar and the World Tag Team Champions. Moments after the bell, the masked assailant changed in and stomped Logan Paul onto the announce table as The Maverick was yelling at Michael Cole.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #2: Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifying Match – Asuka def. Bayley and Nattie

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

With Nattie knocked out of the ring, Asuka made Bayley tap out to the Asuka Lock. As a result, The Empress of Tomorrow qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. After the match, Maxxine Dupri unleashed retribution by attacking Nattie on the ramp.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Match #3: Intercontinental Title No. 1 Contender’s Match – Penta def. El Grande Americano

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

When Rayo and Bravo attempted to interfere, “Original” El Grande Americano emerged from under the ring to neutralize the pair and allow Penta to overcome El Grande Americano with the Mexican Destroyer to become No. 1 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5

Match #4: Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifying Match – Je’Von Evans def. Gunther and Dominik Mysterio

The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

After Dragon Lee emerged from out of nowhere to get payback on Gunther with a ring bell attack, Je’Von Evans blasted Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio with the OG Cutter to win the Triple Threat Match and qualify for the Elimination Chamber.

My Score: 3.5 out of 5

Final Verdict: 3/5

This week’s Raw felt like a solid but uneven march toward Elimination Chamber. The show was clearly focused on qualifying matches and advancing multiple story threads at once – sometimes to its benefit, sometimes to its detriment. The opener delivered spectacle, with Bronson Reed looking like an absolute wrecking ball, but the post-match chaos felt more angle-heavy than match-focused. Asuka’s qualification was crisp and efficient, though hardly earth-shattering. Penta earning a shot at the Intercontinental Championship should have felt bigger, but the overbooked shenanigans dulled the impact slightly. The standout was the main event qualifier. Je’Von Evans pinning Dominik Mysterio, with Gunther and Dragon Lee chaos swirling around, gave the match real urgency and momentum. It felt like something meaningful shifted there. This wasn’t a bad Raw by any stretch, just one that leaned more on storyline mechanics than in-ring classics.
