‘The Dead 3’ Confirmed – The Ford Brothers Return
In 2010, The Dead didn’t just shuffle into the zombie genre… it ripped it open! Shot on location in some of the most dangerous regions of West Africa, The Ford Brothers’ uncompromising vision brought back slow, relentless undead and a suffocating sense of dread that reminded audiences why zombies were terrifying in the first place. Three years later, The Dead 2: India went bigger, bolder and more brutal, taking the apocalypse worldwide.
Now, fifteen years after it all began, Jon and Howard Ford are returning to finish what they started.

The Dead 3 is officially coming, and it promises to be the darkest, angriest and most ferocious chapter of the trilogy. Hard-edged, explosive and unapologetically brutal, this final instalment delivers a fresh, rage-fuelled take on the genre while staying fiercely loyal to the slow-burn terror and grounded realism that made the series a cult favourite.
As the world collapses into chaos, a man broken by the murder of his family uncovers the truth behind a global conspiracy that has brought the flesh-hungry dead back to life. Consumed by grief and fury, he battles across a ravaged landscape to unleash blood-soaked revenge on the corporate elite — super-rich architects of collapse hiding in fortified island paradises, waiting to inherit what remains while the world burns.
Jon Ford said: “I wrote The Dead 3 with more anger, terror and rage than any sane person should ever feel. This is the final chapter – and the most important film of the trilogy. It’s going to shock, outrage and satisfy audiences in equal measure. This one pulls no punches.”
Howard Ford added: “I get asked almost every day if The Dead 3 will ever happen. After how punishing the first two films were – both physically and mentally – we never rushed it. But with Jon coming back with a killer script and a fire we couldn’t ignore, 2026 feels like now or never. This is the final chapter, and we’re going all in.”
Filming locations – and further carnage – will be revealed soon.
