‘WWE Raw’ Review (Sep 15th 2025)
Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: Lyra Valkyria def. Roxanne Perez
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After coming up short against Raquel Rodriguez last week, Lyra Valkyria battled Roxanne Perez. Rodriguez tried to get involved, but the referee caught her red-handed and ejected her from the match, leaving Perez to battle Valkyria by herself. Valkyria seemed to be favoring her lower back, as Perez locked on to the injured body part. Valkyria fought through the pain, nailing the Nightwing to defeat Perez.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #2: Penta def. Kofi Kingston
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Penta continued his fight against The New Day by taking on Kofi Kingston. Grayson Waller and Xavier Woods tried to interfere to help Kingston, but Penta landed a springboard Mexican Destroyer to get the win.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: El Grande Americano def. Dragon Lee
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Fresh off helping Dominik Mysterio become the AAA Mega Champion at Worlds Collide: Las Vegas, El Grande Americano battled Dragon Lee. Lee and Americano blasted each other with chops to the chest, creating an echo inside the Mass Mutual Center. Just as Lee looked ready to put away Americano, a second Americano interfered, but AJ Styles fought off the intruder. Unfortunately for Styles and Lee, a third Americano emerged, allowing Americano to lock in the Cavernaria.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #4: Stephanie Vaquer def. Kairi Sane
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Ahead of her match against IYO SKY for the Women’s World Title at Wrestlepalooza, Stephanie Vaquer competed against Kairi Sane. Sane gave Vaquer a show of respect, which did not go over well with Asuka, who was ringside. La Primera took out The Kabuki Warriors with an immense crossbody from the top turnbuckle to the outside. Back in the ring, Vaquer smashed Sane with the Devil’s Kiss before hitting the SVB to win the match. After the match, SKY prevented Asuka from attacking Vaquer.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #5: Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed def. LA Knight & Jimmy Uso
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
LA Knight teamed with Jimmy Uso as they looked to take down Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Jimmy almost had the match won when he hit an Uso Splash on Reed, but Breakker broke up the pin. Jimmy speared Reed, but Breakker shoulder tackled Knight on the outside. Breakker then pulled Jimmy off the top rope, allowing Reed to hit the Jagged Edge on Jimmy.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
This week’s Raw (September 15, 2025) was a strong go-home show ahead of Wrestlepalooza, balancing storyline build with solid in-ring action. John Cena opened with a passionate promo on Brock Lesnar, setting the tone. Lyra Valkyria battled through injury to defeat Roxanne Perez, with Bayley returning to fend off Judgment Day. Stephanie Vaquer beat Kairi Sane in a key preview before her title match, while Penta toppled Kofi Kingston despite interference. Dragon Lee fell to El Grande Americano after chaos at ringside. In tag action, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed overcame LA Knight and Jimmy Uso, intensifying the Uso/Knight tension. The night closed with a heated Punk & AJ vs. Rollins & Becky confrontation, ending in chaos. Overall, this was a lively, story-driven Raw that delivered drama, returns, and strong momentum heading into Wrestlepalooza.
