28 Years Later (2025) thrusts audiences back into the bleak, adrenaline-charged world of Danny Boyle’s post-apocalyptic nightmare. Produced and directed by Boyle, with a screenplay from long-time collaborator Alex Garland, this third chapter in the acclaimed 28 Days Later saga picks up the infection-scarred legacy nearly three decades on. Blending harrowing horror with a coming-of-age twist, it features Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, newcomer Alfie Williams in his first big-screen role, and the formidable Ralph Fiennes.

A group of survivors of the rage virus live on a small island. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors.
