‘WWE Raw’ Review (Apr 14th 2025)
Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on the now Netflix-broadcast show…

Match #1: Bayley def. Liv Morgan
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match at WrestleMania, Bayley took on WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan for the first time in four years. Morgan started to hit the Three Amigos on the outside but could only nail two before Bayley executed a wicked suplex using the ring steps. As Morgan jumped off the top rope, Bayley caught her with a stunner before landing the Bayley-to-Belly. Before Bayley could get the victory, Raquel Rodriguez placed Morgan’s foot on the rope to break the count. Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria provided Bayley with an assist, stopping Morgan from landing the Oblivion and allowing Bayley to execute a jackknife cover on Morgan to win the match.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #2: Rey Mysterio def. Julius Creed
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before tackling El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41, Rey Mysterio locked horns with Julius Creed. As chaos broke out between American Made and The LWO at ringside, the referee had no choice but to eject everyone. In an incredible show of strength, Creed paraded Mysterio around in a suplex position, carrying him up the steps to the ring. As The Master of the 619 was about to take down Creed, El Grande Americano came down to help Mysterio’s opponent. The interference was for naught, however, as Mysterio dialed up the 619 to defeat Julius. After the match, Americano beat down Mysterio with his loaded mask.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #3: AJ Styles def. Karrion Kross
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
AJ Styles clashed with Karrion Kross ahead of The Phenomenal One’s match against Logan Paul at WrestleMania. Kross feigned an ankle injury before clobbering Styles with a cheap shot, but Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm to win.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #4: Penta vs. Finn Bálor (No-contest)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Penta and Finn Bálor collided in a show-stopping performance until Dominik Mystero and Carlito arrived to help their Judgment Day ally. Just as The Judgment Day looked to end Penta, Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker arrived to destroy The Judgment Day after he had been taken out backstage.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
This week’s episode of Raw delivered a strong go-home show ahead of WrestleMania 41, packed with drama and action. GUNTHER and Jey Uso traded heated words, intensifying their rivalry before their title bout. Bayley scored a hard-fought win over Liv Morgan, despite outside interference from Raquel Rodriguez and Lyra Valkyria. AJ Styles bested Karrion Kross, only to be blindsided by Logan Paul afterwards. Finn Bálor’s match with Penta ended in disqualification after Bron Breakker caused chaos. Promos from Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY added hype to their looming showdowns. Ultimately this show delivered an effective build for WrestleMania this weekend!
