‘WWE Raw’ Review (Mar 24th 2025)
Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on the now Netflix-broadcast show.

Match #1: The Usos def. A-Town Down Under
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Set to compete with a mystery partner, Jey Uso pulled in Jimmy Uso to take on A-Town Down Under. The Usos were teaming together in a traditional tag team contest for the first time in nearly two years, but their chemistry was still off the charts. Waller and Theory used their cunning, but a 1-D from The Usos ended the match in victory for the reunited brothers.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Women’s Intercontinental Championship – Lyra Valkyria def. Raquel Rodriguez
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Lyra Valkyria continued her streak of being a fighting champion by defending her title against Raquel Rodriguez. Rodriguez sent Valkyria flying after delivering a huge boot when the Women’s Intercontinental Champion tried to leap onto Rodriguez. Liv Morgan became a factor at ringside, interfering repeatedly to give Rodriguez the upper hand. As Rodriguez had Valkyria up for a Tejana Bomb, Valkyria turned it into a pinfall attempt, surprising Rodriguez for the victory.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: El Grande Americano def. Dragon Lee
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
El Grande Americano made his WWE debut, taking on The LWO’s Dragon Lee. Americano was on fire, albeit having a wrestling style similar to Chad Gable, who Americano replaced due to Gable’s illness. Americano and Lee combined for an awesome affair, but Americano removed Lee’s mask and locked in the Ankle Lock for the submission victory.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #4: Intercontinental Championship – Bron Breakker def. Penta (DQ)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Just moments into the Intercontinental Title bout between Bron Breakker and Penta, Carlito and Dominik Mysterio came down to oversee the match. Despite The Judgment Day’s presence, Breakker and Penta combined for an awesome match, with Penta hitting a Backstabber on Breakker. Penta looked for the Mexican Destroyer, but Breakker countered to lift Penta into a gutbuster for a two-count. Penta eventually landed the Mexican Destroyer, but Breakker kicked out. Carlito and Mysterio ended the match in a disqualification victory for Breakker as they attacked the Intercontinental Champion. Finn Bálor then appeared to beat down Breakker as well, using a steel chair. Mysterio handed Penta the weapon to use against Breakker, but Penta turned down Mysterio’s offer to join The Judgment Day and blasted Mysterio with the chair. Despite this, The Judgment Day issued a brutal beating to Breakker and Penta and stood tall as Raw concluded, seemingly united in a common goal.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
I’ve said it before and I’ll no doubt say it again… I don’t know what the WWE are playing at with these European shows. The crowds are going wild – as they should given how “rare” it is for the WWE to come to Europe but the in-ring action feels perfunctory, with [seemingly] little to no thought about providing REAL stand-out action, as if they’re coasting on the goodwill of eager crowds. At least we got a good opening match and an OK main event, though the latter was spoilt by all the shenanigans. But what’s with putting on the El Grande Americano match? No exactly a way to win over and overseas crowd?!
