‘WWE Raw’ Review (Mar 3rd 2025)
Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on the now Netflix-broadcast show!

Match #1: Gunther def. Otis
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther make an incredible statement when he delivered a Powerbomb to Otis of Alpha Academy for a big victory on The Road to WrestleMania. When Gunther continued his attack after the match, “Main Event” Jey Uso came to the rescue and sent The Ring General out of the ring. A-Town Down Under, however, emerged to attack the WrestleMania challenger from behind, opening the door for Gunther to lock in the sleeper.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #2: Women’s Intercontinental Championship – Lyra Valkyria def. Ivy Nile
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Fighting through a leg injury, Lyra Valkyria successfully defends her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Ivy Nile with Nightwing.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #3: World Tag Team Championship – The War Raiders def. American Made
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After Ivar absolutely crushed Julius Creed into the apron outside the ring, The War Raiders reigned supreme over Brutus with the War Machine for a hard-hitting World Tag Team Championship title defense.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #4: Women’s World Championship – IYO SKY def. Rhea Ripley
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Following an altercation between Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair outside the ring, IYO SKY seized the moments and the Over the Moonsault to pin The Eradicator and capture the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley to earn the right to headline WrestleMania against The EST of WWE.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
Another less-than-stellar week of Raw, though it was better than last week at least. As a consolation we did get three good matches on this show – the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, the Men’s Tag match and the main event for the Women’s title. The rest of this episode felt inconsequential and somewhat of a time suck – Gunther versus Otis, after facing Tozawa last week? Like *seriously* WTF?!
