News of the Night:

  1. Kenny Omega made his return to AEW, presenting the C2 title to Okada
  2. Adam Copeland returned alongside FTR to take on the Death Riders at the end of the main event.

Final Verdict: 4/5

You know what? Once again, no matter what you think about AEW’s weekly shows, the company can always put on one hell of a PPV and World’s End is no different. We got banger after banger, and even the live crowd got turned around by some of these matches, going from seemingly uninterested to screaming “Fight Forever” for a number of matches – in particular the women’s title match between Mone & Statlander, which was easily Mone’s best work in AEW in some time. Of course the MVP of this pay-per-view was Will Ospreay, you put in not one but TWO great matches, one of which could be in the talking for MOTY. Seriously. The fact we got the return of both Kenny Omega AND Adam Copeland was just the cherry on top of an already awesome cake!
