‘WWE Raw’ Review (Oct 28th 2024)
Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Sheamus def. Ludwig Kaiser
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Slugging it out in a renewed rivalry with Ludwig Kaiser, Sheamus reigned supreme with the Brogue Kick.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Ivy Nile def. Zelina Vega
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Julius and Brutus Creed interfered in Ivy Nile’s showdown against Zelina Vega and sparked a ringside brawl against Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. As they took down The LWO, Nile seized the moment and drove Vega into the canvas to bring the win to American Made.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5
Match #3: The War Raiders def. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee, and The New Day
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In an action-packed World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders Tournament Triple Threat Finals Match, Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee were stopped in their tracks when Chad Gable emerged out of nowhere to lock Mysterio in an excruciating ankle lock. This paved the way for The War Raiders to hit a springboard clothesline into a German suplex for the three-count to earn the right to challenge The Judgment Day.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Match #4: “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio def. Damian Priest
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the final moments of a high-stakes main event, JD McDonagh and Carlito interfered and drew the ire of Damian Priest, who unleashed in a massive chair assault. In the commotion, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio rolled up the former World Heavyweight Champion and picked up the win by grabbing his tights. Despite emerging victorious to secure a World Title opportunity, Dom, along with The Judgment Day, suffered an all-out onslaught at the hands of an irate Priest.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
Meh, something of an average show this week, with only two out of the four matches really worth your time. This episode felt even more about telling stories than the wrestling, and that’s considering how much I felt that was the case last week(!) – it was especially noticeable in this episode, with how much pre-taped stuff was on the show! And whilst I enjoyed the opening match it, like the main event, felt like we were rehashing storylines and feuds that should be over by now. Seriously. The only REALLY good thing about this week was the triple threat tag match… Which was, frankly, made all the better by the War Raiders who are only just getting back into the swing of things after a lengthy absence!
