Daniel Emmerson who’s previous movies were Calm with Horses and Scrapper talks about his producing background and how The Kitchen was a ten year marathon to get made via the Sundance Labs and Film 4 before landing with Netflix. Kibwe Tavares talks about moving from short films to feature debut, co directing with Daniel Kaluuya, how he worked with his cast, his vision and belief in the film to stick with it over the ten year development process.
