The searing drama The Forgiven is being released on DVD & Blu-ray on 12th December and to celebrate we are giving away a Blu-ray. Written by John Michael McDonagh (The Guard, Calvary, War on Everyone) and based on the bestselling book by Lawrence Osborne, The Forgiven is an unflinching look at the perils of Great Gatsby-esque Western decadence that recalls the likes of White Mischief and The Sheltering Sky, and Variety describes as a “thorny modern parable”.

Award-winning director McDonagh has lined up a formidable cast for his powerful tale of tragedy and redemption set in Morocco. Arriving late at the grand villa with the debauched party raging, the couple attempts to cover up the incident with the collusion of the local police. But when the boy’s father arrives seeking justice, the stage is set for a tension-filled culture clash in which David and Jo must come to terms with their fateful act and its shattering consequences.
