News of the Night:
- Renne Paquette joined AEW.
- Shawn Spears made his return to AEW in the main event.
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
This was a rather average episode of Rampage. The opening and closing matches were both solid but the middle two matches were more about driving a couple of current storylines rather than being competitive. Which is great if it’s two matches in a two-hour show but when you’re padding out one hour with them? Not so much. Great to see Shawn Spears back on AEW television – make sure to check out the post-show promo he cut after Rampage went off the air on AEW’s YouTube channel…
