She is the mind behind the feature films Nocturnal (2019) and the art-house drama Wolf (2021), starring Lily-Rose Depp, George MacKay, Paddy Considine, and many more! Nathalie sat down with our hosts, Giles Alderson and Dom Lenoir, to talk all about the making of her two feature films. She really goes in-depth on the whole pre-production work. She discusses her casting process, what it was like to lose her lead actor a few months before shooting, and why you shouldn’t write for a specific actor. She talks about the importance of rehearsals, directing actors, the creative process behind Wolf, budget, and finally, what it was like to have Universal on board.
