‘WWE Raw’ Review (June 6th 2022)
Guess who’s back reviewing WWE Raw? Nerdly that’s who! Yes, we’re getting back into regularly reviewing the WWE’s flagship show going forward. Hopefully watching and enjoying and not hate-watching though! So far it’s been a little… mixed. Let’s see what’s happening this week.

Match #1: 24/7 Title Match – Dana Brooke def. Becky Lynch
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Moments after Dana Brooke recaptured the 24/7 Title from Akira Tozawa, Becky Lynch insisted that their match be restarted with the title on the line. A distraction by Asuka allowed Brooke to attempt the pin. As she did, The Empress held Lynch’s foot to ensure the three-count and give Dana her second huge victory of the night, this time over an irate Big Time Becks.
My Score: 0 out of 5
Match #2: Riddle def. The Miz
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In an impromptu matchup, Miz attempted to use Maryse’s purse as a weapon. Before he could, Riddle suddenly hit the RKO out of nowhere and picked up the huge win.
My Score: 1 out of 5
Match #3: The Street Profits def. The Usos (Count-Out)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Jey Uso missed a kick on Montez Ford outside the ring and was sent over the ringside barricade. Ford was then able to reenter the ring at the last second to give him and Angelo Dawkins a huge Championship Contender’s Match count-out win over the Undisputed Tag Team Champions!
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #4: Veer Mahaan def. Dominik Mysterio (DQ)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite an extremely commendable athletic display by Dominik Mysterio that saw him hit a 619/Frog Splash combination, Veer Mahaan regrouped and regained the advantage. Before he could lock in the dreaded Cervical Clutch, however, Rey Mysterio attacked to bring an end to the contest by disqualification and send The Lion out of the ring.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #5: Omos def. Cedric Alexander
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
One day after Cedric Alexander helped Bobby Lashley topple Omos and MVP at WWE Hell in a Cell, The Nigerian Giant hurled his outmatched opponent to the canvas for a quick end to the match. After the contest, Omos and MVP came into a confrontation with the returning Dirty Dawgs.
My Score: 1 out of 5
Match #6: Ezekiel def. Otis
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After falling short against Kevin Owens at WWE Hell in a Cell, Ezekiel used incredible athleticism to score a huge victory over the massive Otis.
My Score: 1 out of 5
Match #7: Fatal 4-Way Match – Rhea Ripley def. Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan and Doudrop
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Rhea Ripley hit Riptide on Doudrop and reigned supreme over Doudrop, Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan to earn the right to face Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair at WWE Money in the Bank.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
News of the Night:
- The Judgement Day kicked Edge out of the faction, and Finn Balor joined them instead.
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
Jesus! Where to begin with this week’s show? Two, yes TWO, good matches on a 7-match show and one decent “promo” in which Edge was kicked out of the faction he started by Finn Balor and co. What kind of a wrestling show is that? What kind of a FLAGSHIP wrestling show is that? I have no idea what or who decided this was a good follow-up to Hell in a Cell, which was a great pay per view. This should have been a classic post-PPV episode of Raw, not the joke this show was!
