He talks about why it’s important to know how each department works, why having a strategy for making a debut film is vital, and how to deal with reviews. He also discusses pitching, storyboards, his directing style, how he shoots coverage, how he works with actors, and why having a post-production schedule is essential in order to save some money during production.
