‘Ring of Honor’ Wrestling Review (Feb 9th 2020)

by Nathan Favel

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have plenty of…okay, one match worth watching. Damn it.

Match #1: The Bouncers defeated PJ Black & Brian Johnson

The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:

The Bouncers set up for Closing Time on Johnson, but Black stopped them by kicking Milonas, who was perched on the top rope. Black followed with a springboard stomp to Bruiser. Johnson grabbed a chair and was about to nail Bruiser with it, but Black took the chair away from him. Bruiser shoved Johnson into Black, knocking Black out of the ring. The Bouncers hit Closing Time on Johnson for the win.

My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – Do I have to watch this s—?! Actually, I like The Bouncers, but their matches are just hard to watch. Black was here though…poor bastard.

Match #2: (Main Event) La Facción Ingobernable (RUSH, Dragon Lee & Kenny King) defeated Villain Enterprises (PCO, Brody King & Marty Scurll)

The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:

The bad blood between these two factions was escalated in this match, which quickly turned into a wild brawl that took place inside and outside the ring. As RUSH and Kenny King held up a defenseless Scurll in the air, Lee came off the top rope with a double stomp to score the victory.

My Opinion: 4 out of 5 – This went a while and kicked ass. Why can’t they just do more of these on this show? It’s not like they’re busy making hats. You know what I mean? Are they so busy making hats that they don’t have time to book more matches like this? Screw it. I guess I don’t know what I’m talking about. Any-way, this was a great match with lots of fast, fantastic wrestling action. Okay, let’s give ROH some time to go make more hats.

Final Verdict: 3.2/5

There’s one good match here in an hour show….bull-s—.
