Another 10 games announced for the Sega Mega Drive Mini
Set to launch on September 19th, it’s safe to say anticipation is VERY high for the Sega Mega Drive Mini – especially considering it comes from M2, who are handling the porting process. They’ve previously worked on SEGA AGES and SEGA 3D Classics Collection, with a fantastic reputation based on the quality of their emulation projects and their faithfully recreated ports.
The Mega Drive Mini is set to come complete with 40 games, 20 of which have already been revealed – however Sega have just announced, via Twitter, the next ten games to come bundle on the system, check out the list below:
- Mega Man: The Wily Wars
- Street Fighter II’: Special Champion Edition
- Sonic Spinball
- Phantasy Star IV
- Beyond Oasis
- Ghouls ‘N Ghosts
- Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
- Golden Axe
- Vectorman
- Wonder Boy in Monster World
The Mega Drive Mini, priced at £69.99, comes with two replica three-button USB Mega Drive controllers (or two six-button controllers if you’re in the Far East!), one USB to Micro-B power cable, one power adapter (North America only), and a HDMI cable. So far, in terms of games we have:
