Welcome to this week’s Mixed Match Challenge, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have more matches to cover, so let’s do so.

Match #1: Braun Strowman & Ember Moon def. Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox

The following is courtesy of WWE.com:

The undefeated Monster Eclipse roared their way to their third WWE MMC victory with a win over Mahalicia. Match highlights included Mahal trying to take Strowman head-on (an effort that ended poorly for the Modern Day Maharaja), Fox endlessly bouncing off the ropes without contact until she needed a water break, Moon taking out Fox inside and outside the ring, Fox grounding Moon in vicious fashion as she effectively cut the ring in half, Mahal suffering the wrath of Strowman, Moon wiping out both Singh Brothers outside the ring just moments before Strowman wrecked Mahal with a massive charge and Strowman stealing Fox’s Captain hat when she dared to confront him back in the ring. Monster Eclipse sealed the victory when Moon once again took out Fox and Strowman nearly drove Mahal through the canvas a Running Powerslam for the win and sent Mahalicia on their way to an 0-3 start to the competition.

My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This had a lot of big stunts that went well and was a good one altogether.

Match #2: (Main Event) AJ Styles & Charlotte Flair def. Rusev & Lana

The following is courtesy of WWE.com:

The undefeated Fenomenal Flair remained undefeated with their third straight victory, defeating Ravishing Rusev Day in a highly unorthodox matchup, to say the least. Highlights included a sign-off (with the competitors holding up signs that they borrowed from the WWE Universe), an ultra-intense chop-off competition between the four Superstars, a dance move with … well … Flair, and Lana gaining a surprise advantage on Flair before infuriating The Queen. Charlotte sealed the victory for her squad by taking out Rusev with a Moonsault and forcing Lana to tap to the excruciating Figure-Eight, which resulted in Ravishing Rusev Day dropping to 0-3.

My Take: 1.5 out of 5 – This show has been the worst part of AJ Styles career. I hate this $#!%. Why is there a dance-off in all of these matches? Now, they did a sign-off, as well. Screw it. Call Vince Russo and have him talk Sable into stripping naked again, because that’s where all of this garbage belongs, on the same card with that $#!%.

Final Verdict: 2/5

The first match was good, while the second was terrible.
