Target leak reveals LEGO ‘Overwatch’ sets
LEGO recently teased their new partnership with Activision Blizzard for the first in a line of Overwatch sets – announcing that the LEGO Omnic Bastion will be available via the Blizzard Gear Store or on-site at BlizzCon 2018… Well now, thanks to US supermarket Target’s official website we have news of MORE sets and a release date of January 2019. Bear in mind however, that neither LEGO nor Blizzard have acknowledged these leaks.
The leaked images depict one set Tracer and Widowmaker set with 129 pieces and featuring both Damage heroes fighting over the payload on Watchpoint: Gibralter. The price point is $14.99 RRP. The second set is Genji and Hanzo on the second capture point on the map Hanamura. According to the leak, this LEGO set will be 197 pieces and $19.99. The final set leaked features Reaper, McCree, and Soldier 76 together on the payload for Dorado. The set has a $29.99 price point and has 419 pieces.
D.Va and Reinhardt will also be getting their own buildable structures instead of minifigures a la Bastion, coming together in a 455-piece set for $39.99. Bastion is getting another LEGO set – with 602 pieces and an RRP of $49.99. The final Overwatch LEGO set in this wave is the most expensive – including the spaceship from the end of the Watchpoint: Gibralter map with Pharah, Mercy, Reaper, and Winston. This 730-piece set is $89.99.
