Nerd Buy: ‘The Nerdsmith’ Pins

Here at Nerdly we love to show our support to local talent and projects that we are fond of. Now everyone knows I love Pokémon, I have done since day one and I’m not ashamed to admit it, you can only imagine my excitement when I discovered nerdy enamel pins from a truly talented lady based in Lancashire called The Nerdsmith Pins via Kickstarter.

At the same time I was gutted that I missed out on pre-ordering them via the crowdfunding campaign. However… I was lucky enough to obtain some pins from her via Facebook.

Her pins are awesome, the designs are epic and the quality is amazing. The pins vary in size ranging from 1.25” to 1.5”, gold plated, with either 1 or 2 backing posts. All the pins are sent on a cute backer card. When I received mine it came with a little note and each badge was individually wrapped in purple tissue paper with a thank you sticker on them.

Not all her pins are Pokémon based, there is a pin of Rick from Rick and Morty; Chihiro and Haku from Spirited Away; and Howl and Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle.
