Extended look at TellTale’s ‘The Walking Dead Season 3: A New Frontier’

by Kevin Haldon

The trailer we have all been waiting for has finally dropped. No not Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, No not Transformers. We finally have our first look at Season 3 of Telltales decision based game The Walking Dead. That’s right people everyone’s favorite little Zombie Apocalypse survivor ‘Clem’ is back, BUT WAIT there is more.

Today we can share a first-ever extended first look at The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier, the all-new season in the critically-acclaimed series! In a double dose of good news, we can now also announce that the season’s debut on December 20th will take the form of a special two-part premiere, with two episodes coming out on the same day. That’s right folks a two part Season premiere coming just in time for Christmas and Clem looks like a freaking bad-ass. Not much is being said about the plot of season 3 with Telltale saying just this:

When family is all you have left… how far will you go to protect it? Years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to protect his family, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last.

Well all I can say is that I am excited as all hell about this news and cannot wait to play season 3 of what I personally think is one of the best decision based games I have played on PC or console.

I didn’t even mention the best part yet, for all you PS4 owners out there, you can pre-order the season right now digitally and at retailers, and there are a couple of special bonus offers for those who jump in early. PlayStation 4 users can pre-order the digital version by visiting the product page on the PlayStation store, and receive a complementary copy of The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne to tide you over until the new season releases!

Now if you will excuse me, I am off to play the Michonne Walking Dead game for the first time.
