Trailer Park: Keep your Peelers on the Horizon or feel my Wrath

by Phil Wheat

Welcome to the latest installment of Trailer Park, our (semi) regular look at the latest trailers to hit the interwebs. This weeks line-up features our pick of the latest movie trailers including Deepwater Horizon, The Shallows, Dark Signal, Peelers, The LEGO Batman Movie and I Am Wrath.

Deepwater Horizon

On April 20th, 2010, the world’s largest man-made disaster occurred on the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. Directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor), this story honours the brave men and women whose heroism would save many on board, and change everyone’s lives forever.

The Shallows

A young Woman who is dealing with the recent death of her mother is surfing on an isolated beach and gets stranded 20 yards off shore on a buoy. What lies between her and the shore is a huge great white shark.

Dark Signal

Part slasher, part ghost story, Dark Signal creates spine-tingling atmosphere, shocking moments of brutality and jump-out-of-your-seat scares. It packs in so much that no genre fan will be left disappointed – from visceral, bone-crunching horror to flesh-creeping supernatural scares. All leading to a shock twist ending that you’ll never see coming. Get ready to become a believer with one of the year’s best British horrors.

Peelers

What starts out as the last hurrah on the closing night of an infamous small-town strip club, quickly turns into a night of bloodshed when a crew of coal miners shows up and with them a deadly contaminant. Former baseball player and current club owner, Blue Jean Douglas has decided to hand over her bar to a new owner and leave town for good. But Blue Jean’s plans are thwarted when she discovers the magnitude of the epidemic that has been unleashed. With victims piling up, Blue Jean must step up to the plate to protect her family, her friends, and her bar before it’s too late and she loses everything she holds dear.

The LEGO Batman Movie

He’s LEGO Batman. He only wears black or sometimes very very dark grey and now he has his own movie. We are delighted to share with you the hilarious first trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie coming to cinemas February 10, 2017, from Warner Bros. Pictures.

I Am Wrath

Unemployed engineer Stanley Hill (John Travolta) witnesses the brutal murder of his wife Vivian (Rebecca De Mornay) who was attacked by thugs in a parking garage. When Detective Gibson (Sam Trammell) and other corrupt police officers are unable and unwilling to bring the killers to justice, Stanley turns to his old friend Dennis (Christopher Meloni) and decides to take matters into his own hands. It is only then that Stanley and Dennis are found to have a mysterious past that, until now, they kept very well hidden. As they wreak their revenge, those involved in the cover up realise that Stanley and Dennis are more dangerous than they could have ever imagined…
