‘Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday’ – New official trailer
For those of us that grew up in the 80s (and spent their teen years living in video stores in the 90s) Paul Reubens and his creation Pee-Wee Herman were something of an icon. Well it’s been almost 30 years since the release of Big Top Pee-Wee – which debuted in 1988 – and now, NOW, we have a brand new Pee-Wee movie to enjoy. And it’s all thanks to Netflix!
Set to debut on Netflix on March 18th, Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday is a brand-new story featuring the fun-loving manchild having yet another wild and wacky adventure. This time round Reubens is joined by Joe Manganiello, Stephanie Beatriz, Alia Shawkat, David Arquette, Leo Fitzpatrick, Janina Gavankar and McKenzie Marsh.
A fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger inspires Pee-wee Herman to take his first-ever holiday in this epic story of friendship and destiny. Reubens teams up with Judd Apatow (Anchorman, Bridesmaids) to produce, and Paul Rust (Comedy Bang! Bang!, Arrested Development) to write. John Lee (Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer) makes his feature film directorial debut.
Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday premieres March 18th, only on Netflix. Check out the first trailer below:
