Kate Shenton unveils her ‘Egomaniac’

Kate Shenton – director of the well received film On Tender Hooks, which screened at festivals such as Fright Fest, PiFan, LSFF, RazorReel, Ravenna Nightmare, Grossman, Fantaspoa Fest and BUT Festival – has announced that her latest film, Egomaniac, is currently seeking sales and distribution at this years European Film Market. The second feature film by writer-director Kate Shenton has also unveiled it’s new poster ready for EFM.

Egomaniac is a quirky dark comedy about a female horror filmmaker who is determined to make her zombie-horror-romantic-comedy. However everyone in the industry keeps telling her to put a talking dog in it. Desperate for funding, Catherine does whatever it takes to get her film made, but compromises can kill…

Staring Nic Lamont and Adam Rhys-Davies and featuring horror favourites Laurence Harvey (Human Centipede 2 & 3) and Dan Palmer (Stalled), Egomaniac is the second feature film from writer-director Kate Shenton and is a semi-autobiographical tale based around Kate Shenton’s personal experiences as an emerging female horror film maker in the industry.
