First look at the Ecto-2 from the new ‘Ghostbusters’

Check out the first official image of the new Ecto-2 – as ridden by Chris Hemsworth’s ghostbusting assistant Kevin – from director Paul Feig’s redux of the 80s classic Ghostbusters. The official synopsis reads thus:

With paranormal activity on the rise, a Columbia University academic, her ghost-chasing friend, the friend’s business partner, and an MTA employee join forces to bust ghosts and save New York.

Ghostbusters sees Kristen Wiig play Erin Gilbert, a particle physicist, academic firebrand, spectral warrior. Kate McKinnon is Jillian Holtzmann, a nuclear engineer, munitions expert, and proton wrangler. Melissa McCarthy is Abby Yates, a paranormal researcher, supernatural scientist, and entity trapper. And Leslie Jones is Patty Tolan, a ghost tracker, municipal historian, and metaphysical commando.

Directed by Paul Feig, Ghostbusters is set for a UK release on Friday 15th July.
