Three new images from the ‘Deadpool’ movie

Deadpool is without a doubt my favourite character in all the Marvel universe, he has been since he graced the cover of X-Force back in the 90s. But he’s also a very complicated character – after all, this is the guy who kills without mercy, in some truly horrible, if imaginative, ways and wisecracks constantly to himself, and the comic readers! Thankfully everything we’ve seen from the film so far has captured the complex, hilarious, tone of the character perfectly; and now – thanks to Empire – we have a look at some of the other characters in the film – check them out below!

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and set to be released on February 12th 2016
