‘To Jennifer’ to be first VOD release from Nerdly!

by Phil Wheat

Undeterred by the recent BBFC ban of our first planned release Hate Crime, we’ve teamed up with our good friends at TheHorrorShow.TV to release another film by writer-director James Cullen Bressack: To Jennifer – the first film shot on an iPhone 5 (pre-dating the forthcoming Hooked Up by a number of months), To Jennifer stars Jessica Cameron, Chuck Pappas, Jody Barton and Bressack himself, and tells a story of love gone wrong shot in a cinema verité, as-it-happened format.

Joey suspects his girlfriend of two years, Jennifer, is cheating on him. He is so convinced that he enlists the help of his cousin Steven to create a video diary of his attempt to catch her in the act as well as to document the heartbreak she is putting him through. In an attempt to make her feel guilty, he intends to give this tape to her after catching her in the act.

The film is exclusive to The Horror Show in the UK, marking the official debut release under the Nerdly Presents banner, a joint venture between ourselves and The Horror Show. Comments friend of Nerdly, and the actress behind the titular role of Jennifer, Jessica Cameron:

UK horror fans are some of the best horror fans in the world. I was blessed to make a bunch of new friends at last year’s FrightFest and I am excited that another film of mine is (finally) finding a home in the UK market. It’s an honour.

To Jennifer is scheduled for digital release on April 20th, joining more than 250 horror films already available to stream or download at “the UK’s home of horror on demand”. Check out the trailer and poster below:
