Roid Rage’s Ryan Lightbourn unleashes the ‘Sleepwalkers’

Having exploded onto the scene with his original superb short, Roid Rage – a grindhouse style indie flick about a guy with killer hemorrhoids which he wrote, shot, directed, edited and scored the film himself – Ryan Lightbourn has got behind the camera for his feature-film debut with vicious creature feature Sleepwalkers, shot in the Floridian bayous and swamps and starring Ansley Gordon, Amanda Phillips, Tommy Goodman, Ben Owen, and Ben Evans.

Sleepwalkers tells the story of five college students as they attempt to enjoy a festive spring break getaway, only to encounter a deadly, nocturnal presence. As horrific events unfold, the group joins forces with a local convenience store owner and a prison escapee. Nighttime approaches and they must set aside their differences and use their wits to survive.

Currently wrapping up post-production, Sleepwalkers is only a few short months away from completion and, having submitted the film to a number of film festivals, Lightbourn has released a brand-new trailer for the film.
